The Legendary 12
Kef is a sizable town on the very edges of the Azerbad Desert and the banks of The Seep. Kef has often been compared to Edmark in terms of size and trade. It is a very spacious town, filled with various merchants and laborers. Food from Kef (particularly the pastries and pies, for which their bakers are famous) is reportedly the best in Othyr, excluding Sasplen of course. King Relndor lived in Kef for a year when he was still Prince, claiming his reasons as the excellent food and the wide variety of cultures and wonders.
Kef’s Council is notoriously small for a town its’ size, consisting of only 3 members, plus a High Council-man.
Kef is often called the ‘sister’ city of Indara for the similarities they share in location and self-sufficiency, and also for the ironic differences between them. (completely opposite Councils and living conditions.)
The town of Kef has long been rivals with the thriving metropolis of Indara. The towns have been at odds for generations, though at this time, no one can pinpoint a specific reason. Kef’s Council would dearly like to declare open war upon Indara, whom they see as filthy and cruel. The main reason they do not, however, resides in Indara’s population. Kef’s small army is much better trained and equipped, but Indara’s sheer strength of numbers might overrun them.
